How much does a custom memory game cost? At Matchy Matchy, a deck of your own photos costs between $19.99 and $39.99. Two choices set the price. How many cards you want, and whether the cards keep your real photos or re-draw them.
That is the whole menu. Below you will find all six prices, what changes between them, and how to pick the one that fits the people at your table. No math degree required.
How much does a custom memory game cost? The short answer

There are two products and three sizes. That makes six prices in all, and here they are.
Matchy Matchy Memory, your real photos
- 12 cards: $19.99
- 24 cards: $29.99
- 48 cards: $34.99
Matchy Matchy Magic, your photos re-drawn
- 12 cards: $29.99
- 24 cards: $34.99
- 48 cards: $39.99
Read each list on its own. Memory runs from $19.99 to $34.99, and Magic runs from $29.99 to $39.99. In both, the price climbs with the size. That one detail answers a lot of questions before you even start.
Memory or Magic: what the price difference buys

Matchy Matchy Memory keeps your real photos, from $19.99. Grandpa looks like Grandpa. The dog looks like the dog, birthday hat and all. If the point is to see real faces and real places, this is the one.
Matchy Matchy Magic re-draws your photos in one of three styles: 3D Film, Watercolor or Anime. It starts at $29.99. Your sister turns into a soft Watercolor painting. Your toddler becomes an Anime hero. The family cat finally gets the 3D Film close-up it always wanted.
Magic's price pays for the re-drawing. Each game has its own price at each size, so find yours in the lists above. After that, the choice comes down to taste. Real photos for the keepsake crowd. Re-drawn cards for the people who want a laugh.
12, 24 or 48 cards: how size changes the price

Size is the other dial. Each photo shows up twice in the deck, so you can hunt for its match. A bigger deck means more photos, more matches and a longer game.
- 12 cards is a quick game. It suits small kids, short attention spans and a coffee table. Memory is $19.99, Magic is $29.99.
- 24 cards is the middle ground. Room for the whole family plus a pet or two. Memory is $29.99, Magic is $34.99.
- 48 cards is a long game with lots of faces. It suits big families and grown-ups who like a challenge. Memory is $34.99, Magic is $39.99.
Per card, the big deck is the best value. At 48 cards, Memory at $34.99 and Magic at $39.99 each work out to under a dollar a card. The 12-card Memory deck is the cheapest way in, and a good test run if you are not sure yet.
What else to budget for

The deck price is one of the six numbers above. Then there is shipping. Shipping is $5, and free when you order 2 or more decks. US only, ships in 3 to 5 business days. You see the final total at checkout, before you pay.
A few things worth knowing before you get there:
- You see your first card before you pay. If it looks off, swap the photo first, then pay once it looks right to you.
- You upload from your phone. The photos already sitting in your camera roll are the photos you use.
- Order early for gifts. If the deck is for a birthday or a holiday, give yourself room before the big day.
Pick a product, pick a size, and your deck price is one of the six on this page. Easy to plan around, even on a tight gift list.
Which price suits which person

For a toddler: Memory, 12 cards, $19.99
Small hands, short games. Real photos of Mom, Dad and the cat give a little one faces to hunt for. Kids tend to stay at the table longer when the cards are people they know.
For grandparents: Memory, 24 or 48 cards
Real photos matter most here. A 24-card deck at $29.99 fits a cafe table and a pot of tea. Go up to 48 cards for $34.99 if the family is big and everyone wants a spot.
For a couple or a friend group: Magic, any size
Here the re-drawn cards are the fun part. Your best friend in Anime, or your partner as a Watercolor portrait, gets a laugh on every flip. The 12-card Magic deck is $29.99 and the 48-card deck is $39.99.
For a gift exchange with a limit
Every deck is $39.99 or less. That leaves room in most gift exchange limits, and the gift is about the person you drew.
Tips to get the most for your money

- Count your photos first. Each photo appears twice, so a 12-card deck needs far fewer photos than a 48-card one. If you only have a handful of great shots, start small.
- Mix close-ups and wide shots. A face filling the frame is easy to spot. A beach day with five tiny people is harder. A mix keeps the game interesting.
- Think about who plays most. If the main player is three years old, 48 cards is a lot of table. If it is game night with the cousins, 12 cards is over in a flash.
- Price your size. Find your size in the lists above, then pick the look you love.
- Use the preview. You see your first card before you pay, so pick clear, bright photos for the rest too.
